(New York, NEW YORK)
Business Technology Partners (“BTP”) is proud to announce that it has provided a donation of IT services to the Association for Metroarea Autistic Children Inc. (“AMAC”).
For some time, AMAC had been using the default email service provided by their website hosting provider. The system became unable to handle the needs of an organization of AMAC’s size, and emails began to randomly disappear. As AMAC faced some headwinds in obtaining grant money for the project, BTP stepped in and remediated the solution as an IT service donation.
BTP’s solution has improved the system’s overall reliability, as email is now hosted on the Google platform. In addition, BTP migrated AMAC’s data from aging servers to their Google Cloud account, liberating storage space. In the future, BTP and AMAC are looking to work together on a full cloud migration which would help reduce all around costs, freeing up the organization’s capital to be deployed on other projects which may directly speak to the company’s mission of serving autistic children.
Said Keishea Allen, Executive Director, "It was a generous offer for BTP to volunteer their services to migrate us from our old email system to the current system. It has improved the overall productivity of our business. We don’t have as many of the issues we had in the past with breaking down and freezing. Because you can access it anywhere externally it makes it a lot easier."
